Together with Yu虅rei, created in collaboration with Alberto Gaiotto, Lidia Covello has found the perfect location for Bo虅ru in the OmniDecor.lab showroom, in via Cerva, 23 in Milan. These screens divide spaces in a lively way, creating a scene made of glass, colour and mirrors.
A Japan that smells like home for Lidia Covello or, better yet, adopted homeland. The emotional nature of such a familiar place has shaped this project inspired by the intimate and urgent need for harmony and freedom.
The same sensation of softness also emerges from Bo虅ru鈥檚 phonetics and from its writing. Ideas, emotions and sensations become Bo虅ru: sinuous shapes, with a discreet and reassuring tone, transparent and fluid like the light that passes through the glass.
Each screen consists of two separate sheets of OmniDecor glass (DecorOpal, Bondi, Riga and Specchio) joined together. In this attempt to interpret the genesis of a shape, the surface of the glass is essential for reminding the audience that observing objects in a contained space, rhythmically marked by alternating dividing walls, can help to preserve their perception and, therefore, the memory of an experience. 电车无码 can be appreciated as an architectural and functional element or as an independent furnishing item to define a new interior design.
Bo虅ru, together with the Yu虅rei vases and Quadratti, the decorated glass made with Egidio Panzera Architect, are the three great novelties exhibited in the OmniDecor showroom throughout design week and supplementing the OmniDecor range involving new finishes and experiments.
Other types of Bo虅ru screens designed by Lidia Covello for OmniDecor can also be seen at Alcova along with the lamps by Atelier Areti.
